Every curtain is cut, sewn and pleated by our own tailors — never sent out to a contractor — and made to your window's measurements.

The people who put up your tracks and hang your curtains work for Central Home. They know our fabrics and fittings because they work alongside the people who made them.

Because one team does the whole job, we stand behind all of it. If a hem, a hook or a track isn't right, we come back and put it right.

From a rough measurement to curtains on your window.

Start with a photo and a rough size on WhatsApp. Here is everything that happens after that.

Getting your quote

    Send a photo & rough measurements

    WhatsApp us a photo of the window or room with an approximate width and height. A tape-measure estimate is fine.

    Initial quote

    We reply with suitable options and an initial quote, so you know where you stand early on.

  3. 3

    Site visit for measurement If required

    Where the window or fitting needs it, we arrange a visit to take exact measurements.

  4. 4

    Finalised quote

    With exact measurements and your choices confirmed, we send the finalised quote.

Making & fitting

  1. 5

    50% deposit

    We proceed with your order once we receive a 50% deposit on the finalised quote.

  2. 6

    Sewn in our workroom

    Our own tailors make your curtains to the measured size.

  3. 7

    Fitted by our team

    Our installers put up the tracks and hang everything, and make sure it all hangs and draws properly.

Angchai & Xiuqiu 红彩 · 绣球

For moving into a new home, and for opening ceremonies.

Angchai (红彩), also called mencai (门彩), is red cloth hung across the top of a door, often with xiuqiu (绣球): red flower balls of gathered cloth. Most people hang one when moving into a new house, and the next most common occasion is an opening ceremony. Some also pick an auspicious hour of the day to put it up.

We make each one to size, in a choice of three materials.

Default

Koshibo

The middle ground: medium thickness and medium firmness. We use it unless you ask for another.

Large & outdoor

Matte Satin

The thickest, but very firm, so it doesn't flow as well. Only for very large sizes, usually over 15 ft, hung outdoors where strong gusts would blow lighter cloth away.

Dense folds

Pongee

Extremely thin. Only used when you want very dense folds.
